We view the world through a mix of our experiences and those in the community that surrounds us. That world can often feel siloed, as we surround ourselves with people who look, talk, and think like ourselves. But by being proximate to issues that we care about, we can broaden our perspectives, creating diverse, inclusive families, communities, and workplaces.
